There is a relationship between engineering and physics, and it’s certainly a strong one. Physics combines several different areas of maths and science, and it is all about solving theoretical concepts. That said, engineering is similar, and a good understanding on electricity, magnetism, statics, material durability and thermodynamics will give an individual the fundamental knowledge they need to succeed in engineering.
A more solid link between engineering and physics is aerospace, and the aerospace industry is all about the combination between physics and engineering. It’s a sector that will see engineers design and develop aeronautical machinery, and there’s no way anything in the aerospace industry can be constructed without a good knowledge on physics.
Remember mathematics is linked to both physics and engineering and for any individual who wants to succeed in engineering from a young age, we recommend taking an interest in maths, and science.
